Estudo da Atividade Nuclear e População Estelar na Galáxia Peculiar AM 0004-413 (ESO 293-IG 037)

Resumo

Este trabalho espectroscópico investiga a atividade nuclear e a população estelar presente na galáxia peculiar AM 0004-413 (ESO 293-IG 037). Empregamos o código de síntese espectral STARLIGHT para subtrair a população estelar subjacente e recuperar os fluxos das linhas de emissão no intervalo óptico investigado (4500-7200 ˚A). De acordo com os critérios de classificação baseados em razões de linhas, os valores determinados neste estudo sugerem um núcleo do tipo LINER (Low-Ionization Nuclear Emission-line Region). A população estelar revelada pela síntese espectral é composta por estrelas jovens (29,61%) e de idades intermediarias (70,39%). Os resultados apresentados s˜ao in´editos na literatura.
